The 8 Best Niche Perfumes for Winter 2025!

The 8 Best Niche Perfumes for Winter 2025!

The end of summer is approaching, and that means it’s time to shift our focus to the best winter perfumes for 2025. There’s a big difference between winter and summer perfumes — in winter we tend to wear warmer, spicier and more intense fragrances. Our niche collection already includes over 650 different perfumes, and for this article, I’ve selected my 8 absolute favorites for the colder months. This selection is based on my own experience and personal taste.

My winter perfume selection

These are the 8 best niche perfumes for winter 2025:

1. Giardini Di Toscana Bianco Latte

Of course, Bianco Latte by Giardini di Toscana had to be on this list. This vanilla-gourmand fragrance is an absolute must-have in your winter collection! It’s a sweet scent that lasts incredibly long on the skin. It’s strong and long-lasting — in my experience 2 to 3 sprays are more than enough to get you through the day. Giardini di Toscana Bianco Latte is a unisex fragrance, but I would mainly recommend it for women.

Notes – Giardini di Toscana Bianco Latte

  • Top: Caramel
  • Heart: Coumarin & Honey
  • Base: Vanilla & White Musk

3. Houbigant Ambre Rubis

Houbigant Ambre Rubis, Houbigant Vanille Imperiale and Houbigant Rose du Désert are part of the Les Ambres collection from Houbigant Paris. Even though I like all three, Ambre Rubis is definitely my favorite. It blends red fruits with woody notes beautifully. I’m usually not a fan of cherry fragrances — they’re often too sweet and dominant — but with Ambre Rubis, the balance between the fruity cherry and the woody notes is perfect. I highly recommend wearing this one during special occasions like Christmas!

Notes – Houbigant Ambre Rubis

  • Top: Red berries, Pink Pepper, Incense & Orange
  • Heart: Cherry, Rum & Jasmine
  • Base: Ambergris, Woody notes, Cedar & Fir Resin

4. Lorenzo Pazzaglia Van Py Rhum

As a big fan of Lorenzo Pazzaglia, I couldn’t leave this one out of my winter top 8. Van Py Rhum is my favorite from this brand for the cold winter months. Even though it contains several types of vanilla, the vanilla is not too dominant. It’s a unique combination of vanilla and rum — and it lasts incredibly long on the skin.

Notes – Lorenzo Pazzaglia Van Py Rhum

  • Top: Bourbon Vanilla, Madagascar Vanilla, Tahitian Vanilla, Vanilla, Rum & Tonka Bean
  • Heart: Vanilla, Caramel, Patchouli & White Flowers
  • Base: Black Vanilla Bean, Rum, Indonesian Patchouli Leaf & Agarwood (Oud)

8. Omanluxury Caden

With Omanluxury Caden we’ve got the newest release on this list. Caden was launched in 2025 and quickly became my number one from this brand. It’s a warm, spicy scent with dominant amber and vanilla notes. At first I wasn’t completely convinced, but over time I’ve grown to love it — and now I honestly can’t live without it anymore.

Notes – Omanluxury Caden

  • Top: Cardamom, Saffron, Juniper Berry Oil & Boozy Notes
  • Heart: Benzoin, Suede & Coffee
  • Base: Vanilla, Tonka Bean, Amberwood, Guaiac Wood & Labdanum

5. Pineward Coastal Veil

We recently added Pineward to our collection, and this American niche brand has really surprised me. Most of their perfumes are dark, autumnal scents, but Coastal Veil stands out to me by far. It blends woody and aquatic notes beautifully. This is a scent I would wear all year round — the woody notes make it perfect for autumn and winter, while the aquatic freshness makes it work just as well on warmer days.

Notes – Pineward Coastal Veil

  • Top: Seaweed, Sea Water, Cypress, Juniper & Eucalyptus
  • Heart: Juniper Berry, Ambergris & Moss
  • Base: Mushroom, Water Pepper & Sandalwood

6. Perris Monte Carlo Vanille de Tahiti

Vanille de Tahiti by Perris Monte Carlo is a fragrance I return to every single winter. It’s such a well-balanced vanilla scent. I wouldn’t necessarily wear it for special occasions, but it’s perfect for daily wear. The combination of vanilla, sandalwood and amber creates a beautiful, comforting scent.

Notes – Perris Monte Carlo Vanille de Tahiti

  • Top: Champaca & Ylang-Ylang
  • Heart: Vanilla
  • Base: Sandalwood, Amber & Musk

7. Rogue Perfumery Mousse Illuminee

We added Rogue Perfumery to our collection a few months ago — a brand that had been on our wishlist for a while, and it definitely didn’t disappoint. The bestseller Mousse Illuminee really stood out to me in a positive way. It’s a men’s fragrance full of mossy and woody notes. The first time I smelled it, it immediately reminded me of a forest. If you’re looking for a slightly heavier, darker men’s perfume, this one is an absolute must-try!

Notes – Rogue Perfumery Mousse Illuminee

  • Top: Oakmoss, Tarragon, Cypress
  • Heart: White Flowers & Olibanum (church incense)
  • Base: White Musk & Cedar

2. Superz Morocco

One of the absolute standouts from this top 8 is Superz Morocco. Superz is a Hungarian brand and one of my personal favorites. It’s honestly hard to describe this perfume — it’s a complex scent with incredible depth and many different accords. I mostly get sweet vanilla with a hint of citrus and amber. It’s a powerful fragrance, but never too overpowering. All in all, this perfume is a true masterpiece and will always be part of my personal collection.

Notes – Superz Morocco

  • Top: Mandarin, Bergamot & Aromatic notes
  • Heart: Vanilla Blossom, Vanilla, Lavender & Freesia
  • Base: Amber, Sandalwood, Musk & Tonka Bean

These are my 8 favorite winter perfumes for 2025. At PetitParfums, you can try all of these as perfume samples first, so you can test them at home before committing to a full bottle. I hope this blog helps you find your new favorite winter fragrance!
